This conference have organized by the Research Institute for Rare Diseases (IIER), Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) in collaboration with the Association of Medicine of the Pharmaceutical Industry (AMIFE). It is intended to open a discussion, exchange of views and possible future collaboration between all stakeholders. This collaboration would allow the improvement of access to diagnosis and the possibility of accelerating the placing on the market of new therapies. Massive genomic sequencing technology and the use in clinical practice of other genomics alongside innovative experimental techniques and data analysis, provide a challenge and an opportunity to improve scientific knowledge of disease diagnosis and its treatments.
